A singer by avocation and a writer by vocation who always dedicates her days for rigorous research work to string real stories of great personalities, their lives and also of historical events of the past and modern society. As an ex-teacher of few renowned institutions of Calcutta like Loreto, Welland Gouldsmith etc Mathematics is her cup of tea for ever.
Her extensive research work resulted quiet a few number of books on Tagore and Tagore family along with their works. Culture of music started purely out of deep love towards bengali music. Instituntional training is from “Dakhshini” where the journey towards the world of music began together with Smt.Shibani Ganguly. Later treaded different paths of Rabindra Sangeet and variety of Bengali Songs. She also sings songs of D.L.Roy, Atulprasad Sen, Rajanikanta Sen, Nazrul Islam and Puratani Bangla Gaan.
Undergone extensive institutional training of “Rabindra Sangeet” at “Dakhshinee” from where she passed with flying colours, with praiseworthy works in Rabindra Sangeet.
